The gluttonous little Rabbit

 Story! Story!!

...

Once upon a time, there lived a slim shaped rabbit near a beautiful fenced garden full of carrots. Everyday he sneaked into the garden of carrots through a tiny hole he created in the  fence and ate as much carrot as his stomach could accommodate.

One day he invited another rabbit to join him in the carrot fiesta. When the gluttonous little rabbit came, he exclaimed in excitement, "oh! There are so many healthy carrots here, I would love to eat all of them."

Without waiting to hear the response of the slim shaped rabbit that invited him, he dug in and started eating as many carrots as his little hands could handle. The more he ate the more the size of his stomach increased.

"I think you should slow down on eating the carrots and go measure yourself in the escape route so you would not be trapped when it's time to escape" the slim shaped rabbit advised.

"Do not worry about me," the gluttonous rabbit cried, "I will be fine."

On and on he kept eating until there was no space in his stomach to fill more carrots.

Suddenly, footsteps were heard coming into the garden.

"That must be the gardener. Run!" The slim shaped rabbit exclaimed in fear as he scurried  towards the hole he created and escaped.  The gluttonous rabbit tried to run faster but was dragged back by his big stomach. When he got to the hole he tried to force himself through it but was trapped, his big stomach could not pass through the tiny hole.

"There you are, little rabbit," the angry looking gardener said when he sighted the rabbit struggling in the trapped hole. " You have been attacking my carrots, haven't you? Today, I will use you to make a rabbit stew for myself, " he said as he lifted the scared looking rabbit and carried him home.

Back in his dark home, the slim shaped rabbit laid sad on his bed thinking of his friend, "I wished he had listened to me," he sighed.

MORAL LESSONS

1.Every man has a different destiny, what works for one person might end up blowing in the face of another.  Know what works for you.

2.Listening and following people who are more experienced than you in anything you want to do help you avoid certain mistakes.

3.People who have an intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth, power, or food, often ignore the harm their actions can cause them.
